***POSTPONED*** We are returning to the River Tame 10am - 1pm Saturday 29th February.

A "in" river and riverbank clean up, meeting at the corner of the playing fields by the footbridge over the river in Mossley OL5 9NB, look for our MRT Gazebo.

Mersey Rivers Trust staff and volunteers who have waders will enter the river to remove any debris or rubbish we find. Those who do not wish to enter the river or don't have waders will assist from the bank to remove the debris, rubbish and any litter from the bank to the collection point. 

Chest or thigh waders required, we do have some available sizes to use. *Please note advance notice is required so we can check we have your size and then bring along.

All equipment and required PPE (gloves, hi-viz vests, safety glasses and life jackets where necessary) will be provided including hot drinks and chocolate biscuits...

Please wear suitable clothing and footwear for the weather conditions on the day.

It's great fun - it's rewarding - and you can make a big difference.
